Ricardo Brey
“Yardbirdâ€. 2006 The Cuban-born visual artist Ricardo Brey (Havana, 1955) graduated from the school of art San Alejandro and National School of Art. Since 1991 he has been living and working in Ghent, Belgium. Among other recognitions he had received the Prize from the Flemish Ministry of Culture, and a Guggenheim Fellowship for Installation Art and Sculpture. In 2005 Brey was selected as Artist of Reference by the Cera foundation within the project Partners in Art. 
Currently the artist plays golf, is breeding pigeons and sings every Sunday in the choir of his local parish.
